Documented since 1255 as the seat of Belforte del Chienti’s political and administrative life, the Town Hall overlooks Piazza Umberto I. Its architecture, enriched with 17th-century elements, preserves centuries of civic history. Beside it rises the Civic Tower, which dominates the square with its French-style clock, introduced during the Napoleonic era when time began to be measured in a more modern way. Even today, the complex remains the institutional and symbolic heart of the community, a place where past and present meet.
